About the Role
Argo Recruiting is partnering with an innovative healthcare technology leader to hire a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape the direction of a cutting-edge SaaS platform transforming the healthcare provider supply chain. The CTO will report directly to the CEO and lead all technology, product, and infrastructure strategy and execution.

This role requires a visionary leader with deep SaaS experience, a background in big data and AI, and a hands-on approach to driving product delivery in a high-growth environment.

About the Company
Our client provides market-leading solutions for healthcare spend visibility, price benchmarking, and purchased services sourcing. Their proprietary platform enables hospitals and systems to improve efficiency and drive measurable cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and innovation across all platform components and product offerings.

• Oversee software engineering, QA, infrastructure, and product management teams (currently 6+ developers).

• Develop and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.

• Drive AI/ML initiatives for enhanced analytics, automation, and user experience.

• Ensure scalability and high availability of cloud-native systems and architecture.

• Manage spend benchmarking and data-heavy tools supporting healthcare supply chain decision-making.

• Interface directly with cross-functional stakeholders, executive teams, and external clients.

• Maintain secure, high-performance infrastructure across all business functions.

• Engage in hands-on engineering and architecture when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in executive technology leadership (CTO/CIO or equivalent).

• Strong experience with SaaS product development, cloud platforms, and full-stack architecture.

• Proven success with AI/ML applications, LLMs, and big data analytics.

• Deep knowledge of healthcare supply chain and spend management platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to scale engineering teams and guide platform modernization.

• Familiarity with RFP tools, P2P systems, or GPO environments is a plus.

• Passion for product delivery and user-centric design in regulated industries.
